Empowering Our Naturalists with Top Industry Knowledge
At Eco Team, we are deeply committed to sustainability and professional development. On September 18th, 2024, we launched the inaugural Wildlife and Nature Interpretation Program for our in-house naturalist team. This comprehensive one-year training program, led by renowned experts and academics, aims to equip our team with advanced knowledge to enhance the experiences we offer.
Our 15 dedicated naturalists—each driven by a passion for wildlife—began their journey with a lecture from the esteemed Prof. Sarath Kotagama, a leading figure in wildlife conservation and a respected academic from the University of Colombo. His insight has set a strong foundation for the program, inspiring our team to deepen their understanding of wildlife and the natural world.
This training program is part of our ongoing efforts to empower our team to offer enriched, immersive, and educational experiences, further solidifying our position as Sri Lanka’s premier wildlife safari provider.
