“Since life is short and the world is wide, the sooner you start exploring it, the better” - Simon Raven
Dear Trade Colleagues,
It has been an eventful month here, as you probably would have heard on the news, with seemingly big changes on the horizon for the administrators of the nation. Although protests have sprung up around the country, these have all been conducted peacefully and with little disruption to visitors to the country. The natural trait of hospitality ingrained in every Sri Lankan has ensured that every visitor is well looked after, despite the challenges brought on by the forex crisis. In fact, tourist arrivals have steadily increased every month, and this is a very encouraging sign.It has been an eventful month here, as you probably would have heard on the news, with seemingly big changes on the horizon for the administrators of the nation. We, at Eco Team, have taken precautionary measures to ensure that all facilities, meals and excursions are available to our guests in an uninterrupted manner, so that their exploration of Sri Lanka is as experiential as always. So, without further ado, let’s head out to a serendipitous refuge, encounter a mat of a hundred and one uses, meet a chilled out Ops guy and find out how the youth of Uva have been empowered!
As always, I wish you and your clients an experiential journey and look forward to seeing you soon.
